The Golden Roar Part 1

         

           It was a dark, stormy night. The thunder started rumbling, and the wolves were howling. The kingdoms' subjects, were shaking from fear. They locked their doors and closed the curtains. 

The army of Anuvia bows down to the king.

"What is your command, your Majesty?" asked Commander Bolt.

“I want our finest soldiers to guard the kingdom. As you may know, the mountain lions were spotted near the kingdom.” roared King Elijah. No one was willing to step up to guard their kingdom.

"How dare my soldiers aren't willing to protect our kingdom!" yelled the king. Shamefully, the soldiers stared at the floor.

"Why don't we ask the guards?" asked Commander Bolt.

“Enough! The guards have taken their day off, for today. Our army will bring me to shame. I wish to be alone” replied the king.

“Sir, three teenagers would like to talk to you. We have checked them for weapons, none were found,” the guard said. The three teenagers walked into the room, dressed in old rags.

“Your Majesty would like to guard the kingdom against the mountain lions. We have nothing to lose, nor anything to be afraid of.”

“Unbelievable! My army is afraid to guard Anuvia against the lion, but three teenagers are willing to guard the kingdom. Unbelievable!” replied the king. 

"I will give 10,000 gold coins for your bravery and courageousness. Wait here for a minute, I will give you proper clothes suitable for the weather outside."

“No need, your majesty! We will manage without a problem.”

"Are you sure? The priest predicted a heavy thunderstorm!"

“I appreciate the offer, but we must decline. Let us leave to guard the kingdom.”

“Wait…I want you all to introduce yourselves before you leave.” said the king suspiciously.
